Pressie Pouch® the Original, Peel and Seal, Gift Wrap Pouch Is Headed to US Retailers and UK Tele-Shopping

West Palm Beach, Florida USA — Pressie Pouch®, the original, self-sealing gift pouch collection invented in the United Kingdom is entering the United States after securing an exclusive distribution agreement. The innovative gift pouches will be available at US gift retailers and distributed by The Packaging Source, Inc.  Additionally, Pressie Pouch® will make its TV shopping debut in November on the Create and Craft channel which airs into millions of UK and US households.

Wrapping a gift can be quite a chore: you need scissors, tape and tissue paper plus lots of time and patience. Not anymore! Pressie Pouch® self-sealing pouches are made of high quality, gift wrap paper that make gift wrapping easy and fun. Simply place a gift inside the pouch then peel and seal – voila! It’s perfect for busy moms, kids, people with hand issues, older people, even men – no more excuses!

Sharon McGillion of Omagh, Ireland invented Pressie Pouch® when she identified a gap in the market for a convenient gift wrapping solution. After years of selling to boutique retailers and Amazon UK, Sharon set her sights on the US. She hired an American agency that specializes in consumer products marketing to help her secure a distribution agreement. “I knew the pouches were a winner right away,” stated Jill Duggan, President of Product Route.

Jill Duggan brought the line to Brad Houseknecht, President of The Packaging Source, Inc. and he also agreed it was special and unique to the gift industry. “This product is going to be great for everyone that is on the run and doesn’t have time to purchase tissue paper, ribbon and a card that usually go with a gift bag. I also love it because kids cannot peek inside the pouch until they open it. I am excited to get this product to market so that everyone can see the advantages of the Pressie Pouch® collection,” stated Houseknecht. The collection brings freshness and innovation to the gift wrap category and is available in an array of patterns and designs just like conventional gift wrap. Pricing is similar to a gift bag but offers more uniqueness.

Sharon McGillion and her business partner, Anne Canavan started the consultancy, “Products to the US” which offers help to inventors who would like to enter the US market. Product to US is the brainchild of these two inventors who continue to set their sights high on marketing new products across the globe.
